When Michael Hattinger founded his small production company in 1956, he could not have guessed that it would one day become a major insulation supplier for the Austrian building materials market.
For more than 60 years in Straßwalchen / Salzburg we have been producing wood wool lightweight panels from natural raw materials: wood, water and cement.
Due to our constant endeavor to improve and further develop our products, as well as to create new product solutions for our customers, numerous investments have been made at the Straßwalchen location in recent years.
The strong partnership with the Austrian building materials trade and the close contact with our processing customers ensure constant growth at the cutting edge.
Partnership
In recent years, Isolith has specialized more and more in multi-layer panels for the building construction sector and has pushed the production of single-layer acoustic panels into the background.
In order to still be able to offer a wide range for our customers, we have decided to enter into a partnership with CEWOOD. With the products for room acoustics and design from CEWOOD, we now also offer wood wool panels for this area of application.
CEWOOD
CEWOOD has successfully adopted the more than 50-year-old tradition of producing wood wool panels in Latvia. CEWOOD is a 100% Latvian company and currently employs over 60 people.
The company was founded in 2015. CEWOOD is the only manufacturer of wood wool panels in the Baltic States and one of the leading companies in the world. Thanks to the company’s product quality standards, sales of CEWOOD products increased in many markets around the world.
The company is constantly working on optimizing production processes, introducing new products and branding. Together with industry experts – architects, interior designers, building owners and property developers – the prerequisites are created in order to take full advantage of the unique advantages of CEWOOD acoustic panels.
